SALVIA 'AMISTAD'
Tax included.
HEIGHT: 1M SPREAD: 60cm
FLOWERING: May - November
POSITION: Full sun
HARDINESS: Borderline - may survive perfectly well in a sheltered spot with wells drained soil. OK here in the west of Wales on my stony hill but if any doubt keep frost free for the winter.
One of the most popular and successful of recent salvia introductions this magnificent plant makes a strong vertical in any setting with its spikes of long dark purple flowers from dark calyces. Big,bold and beautiful and long flowering. May need staking in a windy spot.
