From forest clearings 4-700 feet up in Somalia comes this lovely plant, very rarely for sale in the UK - pale green elegant long leaves and many sprays of powder blue flower with white flecked throat
The leaves have a very distinctive - and unclassifiable, at least to me - aroma which has been distilled as an essential oil which has been proved to have uses in cosmetics and mens fragrances!. There is truly a sage for everything.....
