HARDY PERENNIAL
HEIGHT AND SPREAD 45-60 CM

WELL DRAINED SOIL. SUN
A very decorative variant of common culinary sage -possibly too pretty to eat? a very good plant for the front of a sunny border, perhaps in front of shrub roses. Needs to be trimmed back carefully after a year or two - not cutting in to the dead wood to retain the colour and shape. Spires of violet blue flowers in early summer complete its many charms.
